Sending hyperlinks via text message can quickly result in your messages being marked as spam. Using bitly links will help avoid your number being marked as spam and result in getting your hyper links to your clients efficiently.
- Navigate to the Automations tab and toggle to Templates
- In a different tab, navigate to https://bitly.com/
- Scroll down on the homepage and enter the link you would like to send in the bar as pictured below.
- Click Shorten and once the bitly link is created, click Copy
- Paste your new bitly link in your Text (SMS) template and click Save
